RAIA: St Anthony Assolda SC blanked St Jose de Areal, 6-0 and sailed into the semifinal of the 6th Martin Cup 23-24 organised by Betalbatim Sports Club and played at panchayat ground, Betalbatim, on Tuesday.
Both teams gave their best in the first ten minutes of play but the tricky moves of Assolda and change of game plan by worked out.

Frazier Gomes of Assolda was the star of the match with his power packed shots and many assists to his teammates and for Areal, Raymond gave his best.
St Anthony Assolda and Areal had equal chances in the first quarter of the match but Assolda with combination of Vitorinho, Frazer and Regan made the difference and scored six goals in both session of play. At the breather, Assolda were leading by 2-0 with goals scored by Vitorinho Fernandes and Frazier Gomes.
After resumption of second half Assolda changed the complexion of the match by scoring four more goals through Frazer Gomes, Vitorinho Fernandes, Regan Fernandes and Cajitan fernandes.
Frazier Gomes of Assolda was awarded the man-of-the-match trophy at the hands of Punjab FC player Kingsley Fernandes.
