BENAULIM: St Anthony Romaluiza edged past Spring Boys, Mandopa-Navelim 2-1 and moved into the quarter-finals of the first all Goa Bab bakery football tournament, in memory of Anthony Fernandes, organised by Bab bakery Benaulim, at Xemu moll ground, Benaulim, on Friday.
Sam netted the first goal for Spring boys in the fourth minute but it didn’t take long as Velington equalised for St Anthony Romaluiza.
Later in the second half, Yunal Fernandes netted the match-winner for St Anthony Romaluiza in the 47th minute.
