MAPUSA: St. Anthony’s Marna sailed into the semi-final of the Milagres Cup after they trounced Augustias 4-0 on Friday. The tournament is organised by Milagres Sports Club, held at Duler Stadium.
St. Anthony’s Marna went into attack against their opponents right from the start. Sangam Pednekar scored the first goal in the eighth minute for Marna SC off a neat placement.
Thereafter, Sidhant Shirodkar scored the first hat-trick of the tournament as he scored in style in the 13th, 21st and 24th minutes giving Marna a 4-0 lead at the lemon break. In the second half, there were no goals.
