DANDO-COLVA: SC Davorlim registered a solitary goal win over UC Benaulim to move into the quarter-finals of the 30th Super Soccer football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando Colva, at Sao Joao Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Friday.
In the second minute, Rody of Benaulim took a long range shot which failed to pop up into the Davorlim net. Three minutes later, Davorlim’s William should have netted but the latter’s shot was saved by a diving Benaulim keeper Swifferen D’Silva. As the match progressed, in the 59th minute William Niasso scored the match-winner for Davorlim.
