AMBELIM: St Anthony SC, Colva defeated Betalbatim SC 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Lourdes Cup Soccer, at Ambelim ground, on Tuesday.
The teams went head-to-head but their strikers failed to score and the sides were locked goalless at full time.
In the penalty shoot-out, St Anthony SC scored through Romario Fernandes, Jerry Fernandes, Herculano Costa and Ryan Fernandes while Betalbatim SC converted through Kingslee Pereira, Brandon Rodrigues and Micky Fernandes.
