CHINCHINIM: St Anthony SC, Colva got the better of Ambelim SC 3-2 to move into the final of 15th CRC Chinichinim Cup football tournament, organized by CRC Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope Church, Chinchinim on Friday.
Both teams played on equal footings in the first twenty minutes.
Romario Fernandes and Keith Rodrigues combined well for the Colva team to torment the rival defence.
However, Ambelim took the lead in the 25th minute through Richard Fernandes. Down by a goal, the Colva team re-grouped quickly and levelled terms in the 30th minute through Romario Fernandes.
In the 42nd minute, Baptist Fernandes gave St Anthony SC lead, while Keith Rodrigues made it 3-1 in the 46th minute.
Rehman Cardozo made it 2-3 for Ambelim SC in the 60th minute.
