ASSONORA: St Anthony’s High School Duler registered a hard fought 6-4 win via the tie-breaker over Holy Cross High School Bastora to enter into the semis of the Bardez Taluka U-14 boys football tournament organised by DYSA, played at Assonora Sports Complex here, on Thursday.
The teams were locked in a1-1 draw at the end of regulation time. Vishal butte of Bastora school gave the lead in the first half while Shaviz Khan Pathan of Duler school equalised in the dying seconds of the match.
In the tie-breaker Gaurav Arolkar, Vishal Butte, Leon Kerketta and Siddhant Pednekar converted for Holy Cross HS while Shaviz Khan Pathan, Pratik Kale, Sanket Patil, Sohail D and Himanshu Rai converted for Duler school.
In another match, St Joseph’s High School Arpora defeated St. Joseph’s High School Calangute by 2-1.
