VARCA: Pedda C defeated Chadvado B 6-5 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the1st Varca Zuri Tourist taxi Association inter-ward football tournament played at Varca ground, on Thursday.
Pedda C opened their account through Jowel Pires in the 2nd minute with a power packed shot within four minutes while Frenzer equalised for Chadwaddo B.
As the match progressed, Chadvado doubled the lead through Conny in the 19th minute but the joy was short lived as within ten minutes Kruger Alemao equalised for Pedda C.
In the tie-breaker Pedda C proved to be better shooters.
In another match, Reprowado defeated Fatrade C 3-1, Reprovaddo netted through Nash Pereira and Aaron Rodrigues who scored a brace while Con Kinsley pulled a goal back for Fatrade in the 18th minute.
