RAIA: St Anthony’s SC, Assolda, edged past Parish Youth Nuvem 6-5 via tie-breaker to enter into the quarter-finals of the Martin’s Cup football tournament played at Betalbatim ground, on Saturday.
Joaquim Carvalho and Welson Fernandes scored for St Anthony’s SC, while Francis Colaco and Melvin Fernandes netted for Parish Youth Nuvem.
At the end of regulation time, both teams settled for a 2-2 draw.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Soccur Fernandes, Rizbon Fernandes, Vicky Fernandes and Valento Fernandes were on target for St Anthony’s SC, while Floton Fernandes, Frazer Miranda and Cedar Colaco found the mark for Parish Youth Nuvem.
