CHANDOR: St Anthony’s Sports Club, Marna– Siolim scored a hard fought 2-1 win over Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda to enter the quarter-finals of the Chandor Seamen inter-village football tournament, organised by Chandor Sports Club, at Chandor ground, on Friday.
St Anthony’s SC opened the account in the third minute through striker Puspraj Mandrekar and they maintained the lead till the breather. Pushparaj Mandrekar doubled the lead in the 53rd minute. Don Bosco Oratory attacked relentlessly and reduced the margin through Valito Miranda.
