MERCES: St Caitan demolished Mesta Bhat 11-1 in the Pogo Boys Cup, at Our Lady of Merces church, on Sunday.
Dayesh scored a brace for St Caitan. This was just the beginning of an onslaught which was saw St Caitan surge ahead with Jayendra scoring the third.
St Caitan refused to remove their foot off the gas as Deeshank scored a hat-trick to lead by half a dozen goals in the first half.
After the break, St Caitan showed no mercy to their opponents as Nehal netted a brace to take the tally to 8-0.
Dan William managed to score a consolation goal for the Mesta Bhat side.
Jayendra added another goal to his name. Mesta Bhat piled more misery on themselves as Saurab scored an own-goal. Vishab hammered the final nail in the coffin to take the final scored to 11-1.
