VELSAO: St. Joseph Vaz, Sancoale, edged past Navy Children School 4-2 via tie-breaker to clinch the U-17 girls DSYA football tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at DSYA ground, Velsao.
In the first half, both teams were unable to score a goal.
After the end of reuglation time, the teams were loacked on 1-1.
In the tie-breaker, Anjali Bajantri, Drishti Medar and Kirti Naik scored for St Joseph Vaz while only Angelina scored for Navy Children School.
