FATORDA: St Joseph High School Shiroda defeated SS Angle Higher Secondary School Mashem 2-0. Primson Martin and Antao netted a goal each for St Joseph in the U-17 Boys South District Subroto Mukharjee Football, organised by Directore of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Fatorda ground, on Monday.
In another match, Our lady of Mother Poor High School Quepem defeated Our Lady of Piety High School Collem 3-1. Foley Dias, Pio Gomes and Velriy Cardozo scored for the winners.
In the third match, St Thomos HS Casaulim defeated Government HS Kalay Sanguem 3-0. Alfred Correia, Amanulla Hodekar and Kenneth Dacosta scored for the winners.
Meanwhile, Regina Martyrum High School of Assolna and Rosary High School of Navelim booked their place in the semi-finals of the U17 Subroto Mukherjee Girls Salcete Zone football tournament.
