PANJIM: The John Paul II Foundation for Sports Goa, part of the Archdiocese of Goa, will be organising the 6th edition of the annual St. Joseph Vaz Cup football tournament for priests and seminarians on the October 23, at the Rosary ground, Navelim from 2 pm onwards.
The event will be held in two categories with one only for priests of the diocese and different religious orders and the second category for seminarians (both will be in Seven a side format for the first time)
The foundation is encouraging the Provincial’s and heads of all Religious Orders in Goa and rectors of various seminaries to participate with as many teams in the tournament. For details contact, Kennedy D’Silva or Fr. Valentino or Adv Fr Franky Fernandes (Capuchin).
