MAPUSA: St. Mary’s Convent, Mapusa defeated GS Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Mapusa 2-0 to win the team championship in the U-14 girls Bardez taluka Mini/Secondary school badminton tournament organized by DSYA, at Peddem Sports Complex, here on Tuesday.
Siya Dhavaskar, Synnovia D’Souza, Nysa Dhupdhale and Rachel Hallikar contributed for their school win in the finals.
For the third place, Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley HS, Porvorim beat St. Ann’s HS, Thivim, 2-0.
