MAPUSA: St Rock’s Sports Club Majorda scored a fluent 3-0 win over Nerul Sports Club to move into the next round of the XI Reira Soccer Cup, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, played at Saligao Sporting ground, on Monday.
At halftime, Majorda led by two goals. St Rock broke the deadlock in the 12th minute of play when Russel Fernandes shot from the edge of the 18-yard box had no answer from the rival keeper, 1-0.
Couple of minutes later Majorda went up by two goals when Josley Dias unleashed a blistering shot which crashed into the Nerul goal.
Couple of minutes before the end of regulation time Majorda made it 3-0 through Snel Rodrigues.
