St Rock YC scored in the ninth minute through Stevan Fernandes off an assist by Clive Vaz.
Subsequently, Stevan secured his brace with a venomous long ranger in the 23rd minute.
However, Betalbatim SC came from behind to reduce the margin through Crisbon Pereira’s deft placement at the half hour mark.
Post resumption, Betalbatim SC showed promise but James Rebello’s attempt was blocked by the rival custodian.
At the other end, St Rock YC’s Melton Miranda was left frustrated as his shot was blocked by the rival keeper.
The match came to life in the final quarter and Betalbatim SC restored parity late in the dying minutes through Crisbon to force a tie-breaker.
St Rock YC held their nerves and scored through Bonvieteiro, Suraj Naik, Milton Miranda, Clevon Fernandes and Zico Cotta while Presson Pereira, James Rebello, Inacio Afonso and Robul Fernandes converted for Betalbatim SC.
