DRAMAPUR: St Rock YC, Majorda, downed Goa Velha 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the 43rd St. Joseph Festival Football tournament organised by Dramapur Sports Club, at Dramapur ground, on Sunday.
St Rock YC Majorda netted the first goal of the match through Lokeendra Thapa in 20th minute.
Majorda came back strongly in second half and scored through Kevin Almeida off Ashley Rodrigues’ through pass in the 51st minute. Majorda further inflated the lead through Lenny Vaz on the 55th minute.
Chatur Naik pulled a goal back for Goa Velha in the 61st minute.
