MAPUSA: St. Savio SC, Calangute registered a solitary goal win over CDJ Ribandar to book their place in the final of the 14th Reira Trophy inter-village soccer tournament, organised by Saligao Sporting Club, at Saligao ground on Sunday.
The all important goal was scored by Deep Govekar in 45th minute with a neat placement.
Both the teams played fast pace attacking football.
Ribandar’s players attacked the rival citadel but failed to level terms.
At the other end, St. Savio also missed chances to further increase their lead.
