VARCA: St Sebastian Union Benaulim defeated Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda 4-3 (0-0) via the tie-breaker to move in quarter-finals of the Varca Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Varca Sports Club, at Varca SC ground, on Monday.
Both the teams failed to score in the regulation time as their respective strikers fumbled with the chances that were created by their teammates.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Osburn Fernandes, Faizal Bepari, Rody Fernandes and Romario Baretto scored for St Sebastian Union while Roque Borges, Alvito Miranda and Joylex Vaz hit the target for Don Bosco Oratory.
