BENAULIM: The Tata Group of Companies inter–companies sports tournament which kicked off on Monday is an annual eventorganizsd by the Tata Sports Club with Tata companies participating from various states across India, each edition of the tournament focusses on a chosen sport.
This edition of the tournament will witness participants engaging in football. The event is being held for the first time in Goa and is hosted by the IndiaIndian Hotels Company Limited (Taj, Vivanta and Ginger) with key Tata Companies participating – Tata Steel Jamshedpur, Titan Bangalore, Tata Motors Jamshedpur, Tata Power Bombay, Tata Motors Pune, Tata Trusts, Indian Hotels Company Limited, Tata Consultancy Services Pune and Tata Sports Club Bombay.
Renowned Goan Footballer and previously worked as Senior Manager of Public Relations for the Tata Group, Fortunato Francowas the chief guest for the opening ceremony.
