In the first match, St Xavier Moira grounded Assagao Union High School, Assagao 2-0 with Sushmita Jadhav and Ravina Kerkar scoring in each half respectively.
Cyana Lobo secured a splendid first half hat-trick to guide St Xavier’s HSS to a comfortable 6-0 thrashing of Holy Cross High School, Siolim after leading the first period with five goals.
Sneha Kerkar opened the scoring while Deepa Shirodkar extended the lead. Then, Cyana was unstoppable, scoring three goals in quick succession before the break. With the damage already done, St Xavier’s HSS passed the ball with ease and added the sixth goal through Deepa’s brace.
St Xavier HS and St Xavier’s HSS will meet each other in the final on July 22 at the same venue, at 9.30 a.m.
