MAPUSA: St Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Mapusa scored a huge 5-0 win over Bhimka Higher Secondary School, Parye in the semi-final of Zone 1 Higher Secondary School U-19 girls football tournament organized by DYSA at Moira ground, on Monday.
Seindia Saundatikar (2), Abigale Almeida, Rebecca Mascarenhas and Anushka Shah scored one each for the winners.
In the second semi-final, DMS Kushe, Assagao got the better of St Theresa Higher Secondary School, Candolim 3-1 via tie-breaker.
In the final, St Xavier’s Higher Secondary School will meet DMS Kushe.
