In the first match, St Xavier’s College, Mapusa defeated Rosary College, Navelim 4-1 vie tie-breaker. There were no scores in the regulation time as both the teams guarded their citadels well enough not letting the rivals score.
In the ensuing tie breaker, Runad Shirodkar, Aniket Bhirshet, Silvester Dias and Shubham Malvankar scored for St Xavier’s while Aaron D’Silva was the lone scorer for Rosary College, Navelim.
In the second match Government College, Khandola defeated VM Salgaocar Law, Miramar 5-0. Shubham Naik scored hat-trick while Prabhakar Shet and Shivam Bhomkar were the other goal scorers.
In the third match, Government College, Pernem defeated Vidya Probodhini, Porvorim 6-0. Sattyam Gawas scored a hat-trick.
Rushikesh Mote scored a brace while Amol Bhagat added to the tally as he got his name on the scoreboard.
