PANJIM: Students of Stepping Stones Primary School, Britona successfully completed the endurance swim organised by the management of Stepping Stones Primary School, Britona, recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Administrator of Stepping Stones Primary School, Britona Nalini Rocha said, “It is indeed a challenging and daunting task to conquer the mighty Mandovi river at such a young age and we are proud of our young students.”
The students Aditi, Aira, Amit, Croydon, Dhruv, Lambert, Nicole, Snaden, Tania, Tyron, Vaidehi, Yuvraj and one ex student Yashuram successfullycrossed around 1.2 kms from the Divar-Ribandar stretch of the River Mandovi.
The students were trained at the SAG Swimming Pool Complex at Campal, Panjim by the teachers of Stepping Stones Primary School under the guidance of Nalini. The swim was ably supported by the Captain of Ports, Sport’s Authority of Goa, Drishti Life Saving Experts, the teachers and the parents of the school.
