AGENCIES, PUNE: Goa’s Suman Patil fished a bronze medal out of troubled waters in girls U-21 100 meters freestyle swimming with a timing of 1.03.16, at the Khelo India Youth Games in Pune-Maharashtra, on Saturday.
Shrungi Bandekar won bronze medal for Goa in the girls U-17, 400mtrs individual medley with a timing of 5.25.20. In the girls U-21 in 400 IM category, Goa’s Saachi Gramopadhye came 5th place with a timing of 6.05.64.
In the boys U17 4×100mtr medley relay, the Goan contingent of Shoan Ganguly, Sagar Patil, Yash Gaonkar and Atharv Desai finished seventh position.
