PER-SERAULIM: Sun Moon Veterans, Chandor edged past Barcelona Veterans, Colva 2-1 to move into final the of the Barcelona Veterans football tournament, at Mabai Per-Seraulim ground on Wednesday.
Augusto Pereira’s left footer opened the account for Barcelona in the 15th minute, while Peter Piexito equalized 1-1 for Sun Moon Veterans in the 38th minute. Roque Carneiro scored the match winner for Sun Mon with a powerful downward header of a cross of Peter, in the dying minutes of the second half.
Sun Moon Veterans, Chandor will clash with Calangute Veterans on September 30, in the final.
