St Anthony played a fine tactical game and outplayed the Dando lads. Their attacking and midfield combination of Jaison Dias, Socorro Fernandes and Stanley threatened the rival goal with well orchestrated raids but to no avail.
Post resumption, St Anthony enjoyed total domination and enjoyed the lion’s share of ball possession. Jaison Dias was the fulcrum in his teams attacks and trouble the rival goalkeeper with power-packed shots. They finally broke the deadlock after Jason found winger Sunny Fernandes, who fired a rasping volley which left the rival keeper Joao Falcao stunned.
The goal seemed to rattle the resolve of United Boys of Dando who became a scattered lot after conceding.
