MARDOL: Suresh XI, Marcel thumped FC Adhitya, Mardol 6-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Mardol football tournament organised by United Sports Club, Mardol, on Saturday.
Pavan netted a hat-trick while Mohit, Gauresh and Pranay were the other scorers for the winners.
In another match, Gopalkrishna SC, Khandola shot-out Mix Friend, Panchawadi 5-2 via the tie-breaker.
Gauresh scored for Gopalkrishna while Ivan equalised for Mix Friend.
In the tie-breaker, Gopalkrishna proved to be the better shooters.
