NAVELIM: Sports and Welfare Club Zaino thrashed Varca SC 14-2 in the GFA’s second division league match, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Thursday.
SWC Zaino striker Asfin Pinto scored a hat-trick in the 12th, 14th and 17th minutes. Zaino’s Pradeep Gaonkar too recorded his name on the scoresheet in the 18th minute. Pradeep Gaonkar netted his second and 5-0 for Zaino.

In the 28th minute, Handle Carvalho made it 6-0 in the 37th minute.
Nash Pinto of Zaino made it 7-0 in the 44th minute. Pradeep Gaonkar completed his hat-trick and made it 8-0 in the 47th minute for Zaino.
Varca netted two goals through Usman Shaikh and Desmond Vaz in the 56th and 58th minutes respectively. Zaino through Sajeet Toppo, Umesh Gaonkar, Asfin Pinto, Sajeet Toppo and Shelfon Pinto netted a goal each in the 77th, 78th, 71st, 85th and 87th minutes and made it 14-2.
