PANJIM: Goa’s young sensation Tanisha Crasto earned a call for National team selections for the Thomas and Uber Cup and the Sudirman Cup, which are to be held in Denmark and Finland later this year.
The selection trials will be conducted by the Badminton Association of India at Pullela Gopichand Academy at Hyderabad from August 28.
Tanisha is the reigning Junior National champion in mixed doubles and is one of India’s brightest young prospects, being the lone Goan to feature in the TOPS Olympic scheme. Tanisha will be in fray in mixed doubles as well as in women’s doubles.
