Tanisha in India badminton team for Paris Olympics

PANJIM: Goa’s Tanisha Crasto will represent India at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, scheduled from July 26 to August 11. She will partner Ashwini Ponnappa in the women’s doubles. 

This was announced by the Badminton Association of India’s senior selection committee. 

The India badminton contingent that will represent the country: Men’s singles – HS Prannoy (PSPB) and Lakshya Sen (Uttarakhand). Men’s doubles – Satwiksairaj Rankireddy (PSPB) and Chirag Shetty (PSPB). Women’s singles – PV Sindhu (Andhra Pradesh). Women’s doubles – Ashwini Ponnappa (PSPB), Tanisha Crasto (Goa)

The Goa Badminton Association President Manoj Patil said, “The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has officially announced the India badminton team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. We are thrilled to share that Tanisha Crasto has secured her spot in the team – an amazing achievement. Her journey has been remarkable, achieving consistent success at the State, National, And International levels, and now reaching the pinnacle with her Olympic qualification.”
