AGENCIES, UTTARKHAND: Goa’s Tanisha Crasto along with her partner Aditi Bhatt from Uttarakhand have stormed into the semi-finals of the Yonex Sunrise All India Junior (U-19) Ranking badminton tournament 2018 at Tirupur, Tamilnadu. In the pre-quarters, they knocked out Kerala’s sixth seeded pair of Treesa Jolly and Varsha Venkitesh 19-21,21-16, 21-13 followed by another sensational 13-21, 23-21, 27-25 upset win over the second seeds from Uttar Pradesh, Shruti Mishra and Samriddhi Singh.
In the semi finals, they will be up against the third seeds Srishti Jupudi (TS) and Preethi K (AP).
