MAPUSA: Tanushree Shadani was in spectacular form as she won a triple crown in the All Goa Sub Junior Major Ranking Badminton tournament organised by Mapusa Shuttlers and Panjim Smashers Club in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and the Sports Authority of Goa, at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, on Monday.
Harsh Mane and Rudra Dukle were the other stand out performers winning double crowns each. Siya Kolwalkar, Yash Desai, Soumya Lotlikar, Aryaman Saraf and Andrea Kalavampara were other notable winners in the doubles categories. Siya Kolwalkar was the pick among the younger players, emerging as the runner-up in three other categories.
Tushar Lotlikar, Police Inspector, Mapusa Police Station, Akhil Parrikar, Executive member, Goa Athletics Association, GBA Officials Sandeep Heble (Secretary), Santosh Prabhu Desai (Observer), Jagdish Shenai, organising Club members Aniket Shenai, Shashank Desai, Kewal Sawant, Chinmay Kamat and Rahul Chandrashekar were among those who graced the event.
