Tanzania topped the league table with five points from three matches while Korea Republic are on four points from two matches.
The first goal came in the 12th minute. Winger Asad Ali Juma moved past a couple of defenders and unleashed a curler which hit the post and went in.
Korea Republic restored parity in the 27th minute. Captain Kim Taehwan’s kept his low cross behind the rival defence and it was tapped in by Striker Shin Sangwhi.
Changing over, Korea Republic surged ahead in the 58th minute with Joung Sungjune converting from the spot.
But Tanzania were not to be deterred. They pulled it back in the 87th minute through substitute Maulid Lembe leaping higher than all to head in a corner.
