The King’s School bags CBSE National rope skipping silver medal

MARGAO: The King’s School contingent of eight students bagged a silver medal in the CBSE National Rope-Skipping Competition 2018 held between November 16 to 18 at Dhruv Academy, Akole Road, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.
Nia Bhise (8A), Kartika Rawat (8D), Lynn Angela Rebello (8A), Urvi Verenkar (8A) secured four silvers in the Speed Sprint and Double Dutch Relay. A feat, not just first time for the school but also for the State of Goa. They were trained by their rope skipping school coach Maxia Fernandes and accompanied by Santan Futardo.
Shaunak Narvenkar (10A), Sahil Chalke (10C), Harish Iti (7D) and Atharva Lotlikar (10B) were also part of that contingent that participated in individual rope skipping events.
