The King’s School to host Barca’s Talent Development team

MARGAO: Barcelona’s Spanish Football Instructors Cristian Roldan, Antonio Sanchez, and Assistant Coaches Julia Vidal and Marco Lopez in association with The King’s School will host Barcelona’s Football Talent Development’s grassroots programmes for children in the age group of 8 to 16.
The King’s School is well known for its sports and football infrastructure and along with the school PE teachers it will host Barcelona FC, the Spanish First Division Club’s unique program to transmit and develop football with all its students between the ages of 8 and 17 for both boys and girls.
For seven days starting from April 8 to April 16, the school’s Physical Education teachers and coaches will receive theoretical and practical training that they will use to improve the skills of their students.
In parallel, the Football Talent Development (FTD) team will conduct training sessions during the PE lessons in which the boys and girls can enjoy the best learning methods in football and fitness training. After each session a selection of players will be made to form a team to represent each class.
The boys’ teams and girls’ teams will face each other in an exciting tournament trying to become the champion of their year group. 
Families, educational team and students will share some festive days with these elite coaches from Barcelona, Spain.
