PANJIM: Titan Veterans, Curchorem defeated Pernia Veterans by 31 runs in the 1st All Goa Veterans Cricekt Tournament, played at MCC ground, Margao, on Friday.
Electing to bat first, Titan scored 161 runs in the allotted 20 overs losing eight wickets.
Ankosh Khutkar scored a brilliant half-century (55) in 42 deliveries. He hit seven boundaries.
Mahesh (29) and Sandeep Madgaokar (20) were the other contributors.
Baloo Shetya (43/3) impressed with the ball for Pernia.
In reply, Pernia managed to score just 130 runs losing nine wickets.
Mahesh Churi (35) was the top run-getter for the losers.
Mukesh Naik (22/3) was the pick of Titan bowlers.
