Tivai Vaddo A beat Khobra Vaddo B 2-0 to move into the finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup inter-ward football tournament organised by Calangute Association at Poriat ground, Calangute on Monday.
Tivai Vaddo shot into lead in the 28th minute through Agostinho Rodrigues. Khobra Vaddo tried their best to restore parity but could not find the mark.
Changing ends, Khobra Vaddo went all out in search of the equaliser but could not find the net. With time running out, Tivai Vaddo consolidated the lead through Santan Rodrigues free- kick in the 25th minute to seal the fate of Khobra Vaddo.
