PANJIM: Simran Bundela excelled at the Sports Management Centre (SMC) Tennis Championship, winning three titles in three different categories, at Don Bosco Tennis Academy, Don Bosco School, Panjim, recently.
Simran clinched U-12 and U-14 singles crowns and also won the U-14 doubles title in girls category.
In the U14 girls’ final, Simran got the better of Sania with the 7-1 score.
She followed it up with a Hard fought victory over Vara in U-12 girls category winning a thrilling 7-5 game.
Meanwhile in the Boys U-12 final, Saiel defeated Dattaraj 7-4. Dattaraj was unlucky as he lost yet another final when he lost against Arav in the U-14 singles final.
Finally Dattaraj managed to grab his hands on the crown when he won the boys U-12 doubles final pairing up with Punit as they beat Saiel and Arav.
The winners have been awarded with 10 points while runners-up have to be content with five points and the non finalists get a point.
