SANGUEM: Tripura took a first innings lead of 31 runs over the hosts Goa in the second day of the four day Col. C. K. Nayudu U-23 tie against Goa played at the Sanguem Cricket Academy ground, on Saturday.
Tripura in their second innings scored 19 for 1 with an overall lead of 50 runs.
Tripura registered 240 runs in their first innings after resuming from 230 for 8 overnight. Spinner Amulya Pandrekar grabbed both the wickets to finish a 5 wicket haul in 93 runs. The Goa innings was bundled out by the Tripura bowlers for 209 runs in the first innings with the Ranji all-rounder Vaibhav Govenkar scored 53 runs (78 balls, 6×4, 2×6).
