AGENCIES, PANJIM: After an impressive show in the qualifying league stages which saw them enter the next stage, Goa sub junior boys and cadet girls teams were knocked out in the pre quarter-finals, at the UTT 81st cadet & sub-junior National & Inter-State table tennis championships, at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
Goa sub junior boys suffered defeat against UP, losing 3-0 while cadet girls lost to Maharashtra A with a similar 3-0 margin. In sub junior boys semi-finals, Tamil Nadu defeated Uttar Pradesh 3-1 and will meet Maharashtra A in the finals.
