PANJIM: Tuff Veterans, Parra came off a stiff resistance from Navelim Veterans to register a 1-0 victory in 2nd all-Goa Quepem Veterans Rolling Cup football tournament, organized by Navyug Vikas Manch, Quepem under floodlights, at Borimoll Sports Complex ground, Quepem.
At half time the score was 1-0 in favour of Tuff.
In an exciting match, Tuff scored the all-important goal when Bruno Coutinho’s, former international footballer and Arjuna Awardee, shot deflected off a defender and beat Navelim goalkeeper Avertano Furtado just before the half time.
