MARGAO: United Boys, Nessai trounced Menezes Bhat 3-0 to romp into the semi-finals of Custodio memorial Sao Jose de Areal inter-ward football tournament organized by Kottu Boys, Sao Jose de Areal at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose de Areal, Friday. There was no score at half time.
In a lackluster encounter both teams adopted a defensive approach especially in the first half as result there were few attempts at either goal.
Crossing over, Nessai were a transformed side as they raided the Menezes Bhat regularly. Their efforts materialized when Connie Dias bulged the net. Shelton Dias inflated their tally when his pile driver crashed into the net. Haysten Dias drove the final nail into the rival coffin.
