VARCA: United Club Benaulim edged past Carmona SC 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Roosevelt Alemao Memorial inter-village football tournament organised by Churchill Brothers FC, at Varca SC ground, on Friday.
Carmona scored through Neil off a powerful shot in the 12th minute.
In the second half, Benaulim levelled terms through Declan. As the game was almost heading for tie-breaker Keegan scored the match-winning goal in the dying minutes for Benaulim.
