RAIA: Union Gymkhana, Belgaum, won a tough match against a fighting RCC South by 19 runs in the Exposure Cricket organised by Margao Cricket Youth Club at KRC ground, Margao on Monday.
Batting first after winning the toss Union Gym were 125 for 6 in 20 overs (Muhammad Abbas 45, Farhan Shaikh 17 Tejas Valmiki 17 in 9 balls. Swapnil Nayak, Anay Lakhani, Anurag Bahadur, Aayush Kaushal and Parth Sankpal took 1 wicket each). RCC South 106 for8 in 20 overs (Ruthvik Lad 32, Yuvraj Dabholkar 34, Tejas Valmiki 2 for 8 in four overs. Mohd Hamja and Shahrukh took 1 wicket each).

On Sunday, Just Cricket Bangalore won a convincing victory against MCC Academy by 99 runs while SNCA forfeited their match against Vinod Dhamaskar CA and have been disqualified from the tournament.
Just Cricket 158 for 6 in 20 overs. Margao all out for 59 in 16.1 overs.
Vinod Dhamaskar CA won the toss against Moula and elected to bat and went on a run spree right from the first ball. They were helped by extras which accounted for 32 runs. Aarav Parmar (28) and Pratham Prabhu Gaounkar (12) were batting well when the Moula team was called back inexplicably and unfortunately forfeited the match. SNCA has been disqualified and the points scored for and against shall stand cancelled.
