MARGAO: Unique Boys Agonda edged past St Anne’s, Agonda on the ensuing toss in the final of the All-Goa football tournament, organized by Sadolxem Boys, at Sadolxem ground, recently.
There was no score at full time.
The winner was decided by toss in which Unique Boys of Agonda came out lucky. The winners were awarded Rs 10,000 and a rolling trophy while the runners-up had to be content with Rs 6,000 and a trophy.
Alister Miranda was awarded a trophy for the Top Scorer while the Best goalkeeper award went to Ramnath and Best player of the final prize was secured by Crystan, both of Unique Boys, Agonda.
Fr Cruz Alexander, parish priest of Our Lady of Rosary church, Sadolxem was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to winners and runners-up in the presence of Lourdes, Francis, Nelson, Rosario, Fredy De Sa, club officials and other dignitaries.
