VERNA: United Boys of Poriebhat got the better of Ambulor Boys 4-1 to move into the semi-final of the All Nagoa-Verna late Benjamin Barretto football tournament, played at Village Panchayat Sports Complex, Verna on Thursday.
Ambulor Boys netted through Elroy Moniz to open the account in the 7th minute.Within four minutes, Anthony Rego equalised for Poriebhat.
Anthony Rego doubled the lead for Poriebhat in the 24th minute with Cyrus Norohna further inflating the lead to 3-1 in the 55th minute.
Frazier Moniz scored the team’s fourth in the dying minute of second half.
