United Boys in finals..

PANJIM: United Boys Club, Dando-Colva came from behind to oust Navelim Sporting Club 6-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the finals of Prime inter-village soccer at St John the Baptist ground, Dando-Benaulim.
Navelim settled quickly into a fine rhythm and surged ahead in the eighth minute as striker Avlon Gomes was fouled by Colva defender Herculan Crasto and the referee pointed to the dreaded spot. Medio Alister Gomes’ firm shot brushed the hands of Colva goalkeeper Deepraj Gawde and went in.
After the lemon break, Colva got back on level terms after striker Joao Fernandes was brought down by Navelim goalkeeper Alroy Rodrigues resulting in a penalty. Nelson Gomes who was entrusted with the job easily converted to restore parity.
In the tie-breaker, Nelson Gomes, Joao Fenandes, Jovisco Fernandes, Herculano Crasto and Denzil Coutinho were on target for Colva while Milton Gomes, Alvito Colaco and Alister Gomes were successful for Navelim.
