United Boys of Dando-Colva defeated San Mingeul Taleigao 2-0 to enter the second round of Rajasthan Marbles Trophy 2009 football tournament organised by Saligao United, Saligao at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim, on Thursdaty.
After a barren first half, United Boys forged ahead in the 15th minute off a Joao Fernandes header after a corner by Piety Crasto.
Dando Boys scored another goal off a free kick by Nelson Gomes in the 25th minute of the second half to take the game away from San Minguel.
Thomson Fernandes was adjuded man-of-the match for his splendid performance for San Minguel.
